Abstract
El presente trabajo analizó la influencia de la educación en el desarrollo científico y tecnológico de la industria manufacturera en las entidades federativas de México, durante el segundo trimestre de 2019. A través de un análisis de correlación de Pearson, se observa la relación entre los niveles de educación de los trabajadores manufactureros y el grado de desarrollo tecnológico evaluado a partir del promedio obtenido por seis indicadores del Índice Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación. Se encuentra que la educación no basta para fomentar el desarrollo tecnológico de la manufactura y, por tanto, deben considerarse otros elementos como la edad de los trabajadores, la cual representa una manera de evaluar la experiencia, que al mezclarse con la educación generan el conocimiento necesario para impulsar el crecimiento de la manu-factura mexicana.
