Abstract
Le compositing permet aux artistes de jouer avec des effets documentaires et fictionnels selon des combinaisons infiniment variables dans leurs œuvres. Ils interrogent ainsi le spectateur sur l’instabilité, la transitivité et le pouvoir des images dans le monde actuel, en commentant la confusion médiatique entretenue par les appareils socioculturels dominants. Il s’agit ici d’analyser les évolutions actuelles du composite comme outil critique dans l’art. Ces questions seront envisagées en analysant l’importance du composite dans l’image métamorphique, d’une part. D'autre part, une définition du « transcomposite » sera proposée à partir de l’étude d’images composites qui sont transférées d’un médium à un autre.
