Abstract
La synthèse du lactose est spécifique de la mamelle mais l’épithélium mammaire (EM) est perméable entraînant un passage du lactose du lait vers le sang ayant un effet sur le taux de lactose du lait (TL). Pour l’utiliser comme un indicateur de l’état de la mamelle, il faut connaître et comprendre ses variations et donc ceux de la lactosémie. Cette étude met en évidence des facteurs de variations communs à la lactosémie et au TL : la parité, le stade de lactation, la quantité de matière grasse dans le lait et l’inflammation mammaire. Le mécanisme de perméabilité de l’EM serait impliqué dans les variations du TL dans le cas 1) de la parité, avec des primipares qui auraient un EM plus jointif, 2) de l’augmentation de la quantité de matière grasse dans le lait, par distension de l’EM et 3) de l’inflammation mammaire, avec rupture des jonctions serrées des cellules de l’EM.
