Abstract
Ce texte porte sur la lutte contre l’insécurité alimentaire dans les villes des pays considérés comme développés. Il cible les actions collectives qui innovent socialement et qui proposent des alternatives face aux systèmes alimentaires dominants. Ces systèmes, qui visent avant tout les consommateurs solvables, favorisent la désertification alimentaire laquelle affecte surtout les populations les plus vulnérables. En réponse à ces inégalités, de nouveaux modèles d’action se mettent en œuvre portés par des mouvements citoyens territorialisés et imbriqués à diverses échelles. À partir de la perspective de l’innovation socio-territoriale, le texte analyse les initiatives mises en œuvre à Montréal, dans l’arrondissement de Montréal-Nord, par l’organisme Parole d’excluEs, initiatives qui ont conduit à la proposition d’un système alimentaire pour tous.
