Abstract
L’idée d’une « sémiotique du monde naturel », proposée par Greimas, va au-delà de la notion d’une intersubjectivité à partir de laquelle les représentations discursives sont analysées. Il s’agit de retrouver les conditions de la notion ancienne de « phusis » du monde (telle que dans la philosophie grecque), lesquelles sont indépendantes de la vision anthropomorphique des individus en interaction (ce point de vue est similaire à celui d’une pragmatique). Dans cet article, dont le titre signifie qu’il s’agit d’un travail en cours, ce sont ces conditions qui sont recherchées, à propos de la notion de « lumière naturelle » (cf. l’« idée » à travers l’écoulement du temps, du mouvement des astres). Selon ce point de vue, la sémiotique est le lieu des propriétés d’émergence d’une Nature, d’un ensemble d’effets plus ou moins hétérogènes. Elle renvoie ici aux significations premières d’une physique spéculative, à la notion d’une origine de la science naturelle.
