Abstract
Taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic, the EI2E 2020 conference was held virtually as agencies around the world are now issuing restrictions on travel, gatherings, and meetings in an effort to limit and slow the spread of this pandemic. The health and safety of our participants and members of our research community is of top priority to the Organizing Committee. Therefore, the EI2E 2020 conference was held online through VooV software. There are 54 individuals who attended this on-line conference, represented many countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and China. The conference provided a useful forum for both offering the latest research and exchanging recent findings in Environmental, Industrial and Energy Engineering and related areas. To our great pleasure, also a considerable number of young students and Postdocs lively participated. The conference speakers and also the colleagues who presented posters gave an impressive performance. The proceedings, being a compilation of technically sound papers, covers two chapters, namely Energy and Industrial Systems Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering.
