Abstract
A multitude of mathematics contest books has been published over the years, but this book is a great find for those who cannot get enough of mathematics contest questions. The Alberta High School Math Competitions anniversary volume provides fifty years of questions, both multiple-choice and free-response questions, and their solutions. For serious students who live for world-class mathematics competitions and for the teachers who prepare them for these competitions, this book is a must-have resource. It is divided into five parts: questions from the ancient period (from the 1957–66 contests), questions from the medieval period (from the 1967–83 contests), and questions from the modern period (from the 1983–2006 contests), followed by answers, solutions, contest statistics, and a list of all winners (1983–2006).
