Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Understanding the concept of Intercultural Education as a model of an educational approach concerned with cultural diversity, I believe in a learning process in visual arts in an intercultural way. This research is a challenge for learning and teaching practice in the visual arts. It is has been done by looking at the cultural differences, through the exchange of experiences in art. Considering intercultural education, I question how to apply the assumptions of the artistic practices by using the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (MDSI) artistic practices? This question can be answered by rethinking the teaching practice in the visual arts as a fertile ground for intercultural competences to be developed from the pupils' production, and the teacher as a mediator of the process. In this sense, it has been promoted an exchange of artistic kids productions on human rights among elementary school students. The participants were students of the same age group of schools from the United States, Canada, Slovenia, Colombia, Cameroon and Syria. They have acted as co-participants in the process of developing this competences in Art Education field.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
