This web site provides free access to a variety of important, evidence-based dive medicine articles for physicians covering a broad array of topics from organ systems to common disease processes and pertinent medication considerations. The web site provides a referral network for patients seeking dive-medicine specialists in addition to a medical FAQ and online access to speak directly to a dive medicine trained medic. The DAN maintains a 24/7 emergency hotline for patient information and care coordination. The web site links to training opportunities ranging from basic first-aid for divers to CME courses for physicians, with opportunities for both to seek DAN instructor certification. Lastly, the DAN network includes links to ongoing and completed DAN-sponsored research projects with options for both divers and researchers to get involved in advancing the field of dive medicine.
