Abstract
Ne Punta Arenas, au Chili, en 1986, Camila Paz est peintre, illustratrice et scnographe. Ds son enfance, elle s'intresse aux travaux manuels et l'art plastique. Vers l'ge de 14 ans, elle participe des cours et des sminaires portant sur l'art visuel pour les jeunes. Son intrt grandissant la pousse en 2005 entreprendre des tudes aux beaux-arts de l'Universit du Chili, o elle se spcialise en peinture l'huile. Paralllement, ses recherches personnelles l'amnent aborder de nombreux langages picturaux. Elle est alors dirige par Csar Osorio, l'un des enseignants les plus acclams au Chili dans les annes 1980. Celui-ci l'aidera se dvelopper comme artiste et c'est sous ses conseils qu'elle explore davantage l'illustration, qui deviendra sa technique de prdilection.
