Alfa Laval, which provides specialised products and systems based on its key technologies of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling, supplied a pilot membrane filtration system that was used to determine the amount and type of micro-plastics in the main wastewater treatment plant, which releases treated water into Roskilde Fjord in Denmark.
