Abstract
Walter Levitt is the executive vice president and CMO of Comedy Central, owned by Viacom. In his role as CMO, Levitt heads brand strategy, advertising and promotion, and ensures Comedy Central’s content spreads far and wide. Previous to working at Comedy Central, Levitt served in a variety of marketing positions at Canadian companies such as CTV Television Network, Alliance Atlantis, and Canwest. Levitt holds a bachelor of arts in communication studies from Concordia University. Levitt is a past board chair of the Canadian Marketing Association and is on the board of PromaxBDA and the Banff Media Festival.
