Abstract
Cette nouvelle revue annuelle, qui a déjà fourni deux livraisons (1, 2000 et 2, 2001) est éditée par la section d'histoire universelle de l'Institut für Europäische Geschichte de Mayence, sous la responsabilité de son directeur, Heinz DUCHHARDT et sous la direction rédactionnelle de Matthias SCHNETTGER et Martina MEURER.La revue s'est fixé pour objet de favoriser, d'une part, une réflexion sur les processus d'interaction européens ainsi que sur les courants de pensée ou les évolutions sociales qui dépassent le cadre national, d'autre part les études comparatives ou celles qui procèdent d'un regard extérieur sur une histoire nationale, enfin les travaux sur l'influence exercée par l'Europe dans le reste du monde.Dans le cadre de ces grandes orientations thématiques, aucun type d'approche ni aucune période ne sont a priori exclus.
