Abstract Except for a finer definition of the N categories, there are no basic changes in the breast classification in TNM 7. The subject of isolated tumour cells in regional lymph nodes, which originally referred to single cells and small clusters, has now evolved to a proposal to include “a cluster of fewer than 200 cells in a single histological cross section.”
