Abstract
Expressions of the spin-spin splitting factors (p) for all the terms of f7 electron configuration are evaluated and tabulated for general usage in the first-order perturbation calculations. The values of the splitting factors for Eu(4f7), Eu++(4f7), and Gd+++(4f7) obtained utilizing the above mentioned expressions and Hartree-Fock wave functions are also presented.
