Abstract
“Rhizome” is a conceptual figure used in contrast to centered and rooted trees by French philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari as well as semiotician Umberto Eco. It is principally a concept that connects horizontally by means of unlimited lines rather than nodal points – that is, without a center, anti‐genealogical, and whose breaks reconnect elsewhere.
