First tracing the background of Canada's "Lawyers' Show" and describing the show's Vancouver 2009 rehearsals, PARIE LEUNG moves outward to raise provocative questions about the role of media in the public imagination of law practice, and about the relationships among fiction, truth, theatrical verisimilitude, and persuasion.
