Abstract
Cover photo. A view of Little Trefoil Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. Because of its round shape and moderate depth, this kettle lake is well-suited for paleolimnology. Sediment collected from Little Trefoil Lake has been used to develop proxy records of the fire history and vegetation change of the late Holocene, providing long-term information about past environmental conditions in this culturally significant area.
