Abstract
Kesehatan reproduksi merupakan suatu keadaan dimana organ reproduksi terbebas dari penyakit atau gangguan selama proses reproduksi, ketika proses reproduksi tercapai dalam situasi kesehatan fisik, mental, dan sosial yang sempurna. Kesehatan reproduksi menurut World Health Organization (WHO) adalah suatu kondisi sejahtera jasmani, rohani, sosial, ekonomi, tidak hanya bebas dari penyakit atau kecacatan namun dalam semua hal yang berkaitan dengan sistem reproduksi dan fungsi-fungsinya serta prosesnya. Kesehatan reproduksi menurut konferensi kependudukan di Kairo (ICPD) adalah keadaan sehat menyeluruh , meliputi aspek fisik, mental, dan social, bukan sekedar tidak ada penyakit atau gangguan di segala hal yang berkaitan dengan system reproduksi, fungsinya dan proses reproduksi itu sendiri. Dengan demikian kesehatan reproduksi disimpulkan bahwa setiap orang dapat menikmati kehidupan seks yang aman dan menyenangkan, memiliki kemampuan bereproduksi, memiliki kebebasan menetapkan kapan dan seberapa sering ingin bereproduksi
