Abstract
Switzerland's Clariant reported sales from continuing operations of CHF1.043 billion (c. €960 million) for the third quarter of 2019, a decline of 1% from sales of CHF1.054 billion in 3Q 2018 but an increase of 2% in local currency terms. The sales growth was achieved despite a weakening economic environment, the company comments, with higher volumes and pricing both contributing.
