Co. provides integrated financial services including banking, financial management, insurance, mortgage and leasing services through 39 wholly‐owned bank subsidiaries and other offices in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee as of Dec 31 2005. Co. also provides electronic payment processing and related services through its 81.0% owned subsidiary, Total System Services Inc. (TSYS). TSYS provides its services to financial and nonfinancial institutions throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Puerto Rico and Europe.
