This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To determine whether the use of a risk‐screening tool designed to predict preterm birth (in combination with appropriate consequent interventions) reduces the incidence of preterm birth and very preterm birth, and associated adverse outcomes.
