es dernires annes, un bon nombre de publications et de cours de formation ont mis l'accent sur le diagnostic et la prise en charge de la scheresse oculaire. Le Congrs de l'ACO tenu cette anne Victoria, en Colombie-Britannique, n'a pas fait exception, consacrant quelques sances gnrales et de nombreuses expositions de l'Optofoire ce sujet. Dans ce numro, les Drs Irving, Hrynchak et Machan poursuivent leur analyse des donnes sur les patients de la clinique d'optomtrie de l'Universit de Waterloo avec un rapport sur les symptmes et les rsultats cliniques associs la scheresse oculaire et une estimation de sa prvalence avec l'ge. Leur tude fournit des preuves importantes que la scheresse oculaire ne se limite pas aux femmes mnopauses et aux personnes atteintes de maladies auto-immunes.
