Abstract
Les participants explorent les définitions des médecines douces et leurs filiations; ils essaient de délimiter le champ alternatif, holiste, d’établir le rapport des médecines douces aux médecines traditionnelles ou ancestrales puis à la médecine officielle (ou biomédecine). Ils examinent également les problèmes posés par les aspects économiques et parfois mercantiles de la pratique, ainsi que les dilemmes qu’amèneront les interfaces créées entre médecines douces et médecine officielle dans le contexte d’une intégration des premières à la seconde. Enfin, ils traitent de la situation des médecines douces en rapport avec leurs thèmes culturels majeurs, notamment ceux de l’holisme et de l’énergie.
