Abstract
and controls were noted. Residents with Down syndrome (33%) were younger and had significantly less comorbidities. Trending in specialization was noted in the GHs over four years (using staff number, costs, and resident functional capacities). Planning should consider utility of matching incoming residents by stage of dementia impairment to maximize care outcomes. Results point to specialization corresponding with stage and functional impairment.
