Cet ouvrage consacré aux adaptations de l’œuvre de Victor Hugo au cinéma et à la télévision résulte de travaux tenus en séminaire à Lyon en 2002-2003, sous l’égide du CNRS, des Universités Lyon II, Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne et Grenoble III, de l’ENS sciences humaines de Lyon. Il mêle des analyses venant de plusieurs champs (littérature française, sémiologie, lecture de film, arts du spectacle…) qui ont pour point commun de poser la question de l’adaptation des œuvres de Victor Hugo en images...
