A 1-tap 40-Gbps look-ahead decision feedback equalizer in 0.18 /spl mu/m SiGe BiCMOS technology
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper describes a fully-differential 1-Tap decision feedback equalizer (DFE) in 0.18/spl mu/m SiGe BiCMOS technology. The circuit is capable of equalizing NRZ data up to 40 Gbps. A look-ahead architecture is used with modifications to reduce complexity in the high speed clock distribution. An analog differential voltage controls the tap weights. The design is fabricated in 0.18 /spl mu/m SiGe BiCMOS technology with a 160-GHz ft. It occupies an area of 1.5 mm /spl times/ 1mm and operates from a 3.3 V supply with 230 mA current. It is the first feedback equalizer at 40 Gbps in silicon.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
