Abstract Property, Real Estate & Development (MIC: 8.3 SIC: 6798 NAIC: 525930) Kimco Realty, a self‐administered real estate investment trust, is an owner and operator of neighborhood and community shopping centers. As of Feb 4 2005, Co.'s portfolio was comprised of 773 property interests including 696 operating properties mainly consisting of neighborhood and community shopping centers, 32 retail store leases, 35 ground‐up development projects and 10 parcels of undeveloped land totaling about 113.4 million square feet of leasable space located in 42 states, Canada and Mexico. Co.'s ownership interests in real estate consist of its consolidated portfolio, portfolios where it owns an economic interest, and other properties or portfolios where it also retains management.
