Kajian ini secara umum memiliki tujuan memetakan potensi wilayah, khususnya terkait dengan potensi pertanian dan peternakan. Desa Tileng merupakan salah satu wilayah yang berada di perbukitan karst, sehingga sumberdaya air di lokasi ini cukup terbatas. Potensi Desa Tileng selain pada sektor pertanian juga terdapat potensi pariwisata. Pengembangan wilayah melalui pariwisata mampu dilakukan pada unit desa maupun unit wilayah yang lebih kecil seperti “kampung”. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada pemetaan potensi wilayah yang kadang belum diketahui atau terabaikan, sehingga diharapkan mampu memberikan alternatif solusi permasalahan dan meminimalisir dampak dari masalah yang dihadapi.
