Molecular pathways responsible for NMDA receptor-mediated behavioural plasticity
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Neurodevelopmental disorders occur from genetic and environmental risk factors that impair the formation of networks involved in learning and memory.Impaired NMDA receptor signaling has been implicated in the pathobiology of schizophrenia and autism.A mouse model of NMDA receptor knockdown and inducible rescue was used to determine the reversibility of neurodevelopmental insults on hippocampal function.Mice were studied for their ability to learn and remember using the fear-conditioning paradigm, which engages the hippocampus in the formation and recall of contextual memory. In addition, studies were performed to determine whether immediate-early genes were induced in the hippocampus of NMDA receptor deficient mice. The findings of this study show that NMDA receptor deficient mice lack the ability to form fear memories, and that this can be partially rescued by increasing the levels of NMDA receptors in adult mice.Furthermore, several immediate early genes are induced without a resulting formation of fear memory.x Abbreviations 5-HT 5-hydroxytryptamine AKAP75A-kinase anchoring protein 75 AMPA α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid AP1Activator protein 1 AP-5 2R-amino-5-phosphonovaleric acid Arc Activity regulated cytoskeleton associated protein ATD Amino terminal domain Bdnf Brain derived neurotrophic factor CA1/2/3 Cornu ammonis 1/2/3 CaM Calcium modulated protein CaMKIIα Ca2+/calmodulin dependent protein kinase II alpha cAMP Cyclic adenosine monophophate CREB cAMP response element binding protein CS Conditioned stimulus DEPC water Diethylpyrocarbonate treated water DTT Dithiothreitol Dusp1 Dual specificity protein phosphatase 1 EDTA Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid Egr1 Early Growth Response 1 EPSC Excitatory postsynaptic current EPSP Excitatory postsynaptic potential ER Endoplasmic reticulum ErbB4 Erb-B2 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase 4 ERK Extracellular

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
