Oui, Constance (1414-1418), avec Latran au pluriel (1123, 1139, 1179, 1215 et 1512-1517), Trente (1545-1563) et Vatican I (1869-1870) puis II (1962-1965), compte parmi les grands conciles généraux de l’histoire européenne de l’Église chrétienne et latine. Mais pourquoi lui, et pas plutôt Pise (1409) ou Bâle (1431-1449, soit plus de quatre fois plus long que celui de Constance !).
