Résumé L’éthique professionnelle des enseignants se renouvelle aujourd’hui au Québec. L’analyse de la professionnalisation de l’enseignement, du professionnalisme et des transformations sociales ayant des effets sur la pratique enseignante amène à considérer le cadre de référence de Legault sur l’éthique professionnelle. Reposant sur les notions d’intervention et de gestion de la relation par le professionnel, ce cadre qui met en évidence le jugement professionnel comme base de l’éthique professionnelle peut être digne d’intérêt pour le développement de l’éthique professionnelle des enseignants et leur formation initiale et continue à cet égard.
