Abstract
La lecture de Paul Celan par Jacques Derrida ne peut être reçue et comprise de la même manière que les relations établies avec d’autres philosophes, écrivains ou artistes. Le présent article tente d’étudier cette spécificité en une double perspective : d’une part, la nature particulière d’un tel lien tissé sur un mode identificatoire, interrogé autour des thèmes de la circoncision, des cendres de la Shoah, de la mort et du regard voilé ; d’autre part, ce que la lecture de Celan par Derrida permet de dégager d’une lecture-blessure dont les motifs se retrouvent aussi bien dans la poésie même de Celan. Se dessine alors la possibilité d’une pensée de la lecture comme procédure herméneutique, dont la lettre et le corps seront les figures emblématiques.
