Abstract
For the third quarter of 2019, South Korea's Songwon Industrial Group achieved sales of KRW208.4 billion (c. €160 million), an increase of 1.9% compared to sales of KRW204.4 billion recorded in the same quarter of the previous year. However, the company reported a sharp decline in its net profit for the period, down 44.3% to KRW7.3 billion from KRW13.1 billion in 3Q 2018. EBITDA for the quarter fell 11.8% to KRW22.7 billion, while the associated margin decreased to 10.9% compared to 12.6% in 3Q 2018.
