Progress is reported on research on graphite fuels, UC, Be and BeO, volatilizatnon of chlorides with H/sub 2/0/sub 2/, and thorex process, extraction of U from Zr fuel solutions, extraction of Nb with TBP, separation of Th from U/sup 233/ by ion exchange, IMMI mixer-settler studies, corrosion studies, radiation damage to TBP-Amsco 125-82 systems, foam separation, distribution of HNO/sub 3/ between aqueous and TBP-Amsco 125-82 solutions, vapor pressure of TBP, waste fixation in borate and phosphate glasses, low-level waste treatment, fission product recovery by ion exchange, radiation damage to ion exchange resins, diffusion-controlled exchange of tritium, and plasma jet experiments.
