Abstract
L’ouverture des données publiques peut être un levier puissant de développement économique et social. Elle peut aussi être mise au service d’un renforcement de la gouvernance publique, puisqu’elle peut améliorer la conception des services publics grâce à une démarchée axée sur le citoyen, renforcer l’efficience du secteur public et favoriser l’intégrité et la responsabilité des acteurs publics. Assurer la disponibilité de données publiques ouvertes, leur accessibilité et leur réutilisation par les acteurs publics, privés et civiques permet aux pouvoirs publics de concevoir des politiques mieux étayées par des données probantes et plus inclusives ; de stimuler l’innovation à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur du secteur public ; et de donner aux citoyens les moyens de prendre des décisions plus éclairées.
