Abstract
Fairy tales can be oral and/or literary and concern the fantastic and the wonderful. People of all genders and sexualities are fairy‐tale tellers and audiences, and the genders and sexualities represented in these stories are more diverse than many presume. “Little Red Riding Hood” and “Belle Belle or the Knight Fortuné” are fairy tales exploring rape, incest, pedophilia, LGBTQ sexualities, transgender, and transbiology.
