Abstract

Cet article vise à rendre compte de la souplesse et de la capacité d’adaptation telles qu’elles ont été déployées par une jeune chercheure dans une recherche doctorale portant sur la pratique des enseignantes de maternelle au regard de la psychomotricité. Après avoir situé l’angle choisi pour comprendre l’objet de recherche, nous décrirons comment la posture inductive de la chercheure a évolué tout au long de la démarche. Nous situerons comment celle-ci rejoint l’approche méthodologique par théorisation ancrée. En premier lieu nous nous attarderons à l’implication de la chercheure lors de la collecte des données et à sa flexibilité afin de mieux comprendre le phénomène à l’étude. Puis, en deuxième lieu, il sera question de la sensibilité théorique qui a évolué au cours de la démarche d’analyse. Cette partie retrace le parcours détaillé de la démarche et la déstabilisation vécue pour mener à bien les activités d’analyse. L’article présente également quelques résultats pour illustrer la théorisation émergente des données.
