artikelTumpangsari merupakan sistem bercocok tanam dengan cara menanam dua jenis tanaman yang berbeda atau lebih secara bersamaan (bisa juga agak bersamaan/berselang beberapa hari atau 1 minggu, dapat juga berupa tumpang sari antara tanaman musiman dan tanaman tahunan) , dengan membentuk deretan-deretan lurus untuk tanaman yang ditanam secara berseling pada satu bidang tanah. Sebagai contoh dalam pembahasan berikut antara pengaruh dan keuntungan membudidaya tanaman jagung terhadap tanaman kelapa sawit.Permintaan pasar terhadap jagung terus meningkat, baik terhadap jagung biasa maupun jagung manis.
