Abstract
The Gracial is a French collection of 49 Miracles of Our Lady, preceded by a Prologue and followed by an Epilogue; it is the first collection of Miracles to have survived. The author, Adgar (or Willame), indicates the source of his translation: mestre Albri , whose book (a Latin compilation of the main English series of Miracles) he was able to read in the St. Paul's library in London. Adgar's translation was done in the second half of the twelfth century.
