I shot a note to the sender, Tonia Gist, asking her whether a Doodle was short for doodlebugger or was one supposed to doodle while riding the scenic train from Vancouver to Jasper. I, of course, meant this for a fairly frivolous question but I was taken literally. Tonia (who works at the SEG Business Office in Tulsa) forwarded my query to the originator of the message, Jim Racette, who tersely responded with,
