Abstract
Lyric in the Renaissance. From Petrarch to Montaigne propose une tude de l'aspect lyrique chez de grandes figures de la littrature italienne et surtout franaise du Moyen Age tardif la Renaissance. Comme le chapitre introductif l'explique en dtail, le lyrique est vu ici non pas essentiellement comme dans le genre lyrique mais dans une perspective moderne, comme une expression du particulier et du singulier. Dans ce sens, le lyrique implique ainsi l'intensit part d'une exprience, le choix spcifique d'un moment ou d'un sentiment qui se traduit par un langage potique complexe.
