Abstract
Dr. Davis died on December 6, 2006, at the age of 86.He graduated from Dalhousie University, with a specialty in obstetrics and gynecology.He was born in Truro, Nova Scotia.After medical school, he served in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps.Dr. Davis was the first resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Halifax hospitals under the eminent Dr. H.B. Atlee.He delivered over 10 000 babies at Grace Maternity and Old Halifax Infirmary hospitals, where he also served as president of the medical staff.Dr. Davis was the founding director of the Well Women's Clinic in Halifax and developed one of Canada's first gynecological-urology clinics at the Infirmary.He was the first Canadian to serve on the board of the American Gynecological-Urology Society, 1978Society, -1982. .He was predeceased by his wife, Esther Hardwicke, after 60 years of marriage.Dr. Andrew Gerrish Webster II Dr. Webster died on December 26, 2006, at the age of 92.He was born in Bar Harbor, Maine.Dr. Webster dedicated his life to healing and comforting the sick.He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1940 and interned at
