Abstract Insurance (MIC: 8.2 SIC: 6331 NAIC:524126) Allstate is a holding company for Allstate Insurance. Co.'s business is conducted principally through Allstate Insurance, Allstate Life Insurance and their subsidiaries. Co. is engaged, principally in the U.S. and Canada, in the personal property and casualty insurance business and the life insurance and savings business. As of Dec 31 2003, Co. provided insurance products to more than 16.0 million households through about 12,900 exclusive agents and financial specialists.
