Evaluation of different contact-aid compounds for aluminum-to-copper connections
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Whether the contact-aid compounds commonly used for aluminum-to-aluminum connections can also be used for aluminum-to-copper joints is investigated. The evaluation is based on the contact-resistance-force relationship, spreading tendency, protection ability against fretting, and performance of lubricated bolted joints under current-cycling conditions. In addition, the effectiveness of bimetallic aluminum-copper transition contact plates, commonly used in Europe for jointing aluminum to copper, is also evaluated. The results show that contact-aid compounds exert large, but different, effects on the contact-resistance behavior and performance of bolted aluminum-copper joints under current-cycling conditions. This difference is seen in the higher stability of bolted joints lubricated with compounds rendering a lower initial contact resistance.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
