Abstract
The “From Relajo to Refusal: Resisting Extractivism, Performing Opposition” Work Group came together to think through extractivism in the academy and beyond. In this article, we share a land acknowledgement we wrote and performed collectively. This acknowledgement attempts to unsettle the practice of land acknowledgements through relajo and refusal, without undermining this practice.
