Abstract
Les anthropologues sont de plus en plus sollicités pour participer à des projets de développement. Une telle participation pose nécessairement pour l’anthropologue non seulement la question de son implication dans les activités mais surtout de sa crédibilité ainsi que de la rigueur de sa démarche et des données qu’il produit auprès des acteurs avec lesquels il est amené à collaborer et qui appartiennent à d’autres champs disciplinaires. Notre contribution a pour but de rendre compte d’une expérience d’implication d’anthropologues dans un projet d’intervention pluridisciplinaire en santé maternelle au Burkina Faso. À partir d’exemples précis de mise en oeuvre de techniques qualitatives de recherche (entretiens et observations directes) auprès de soignants il s’agit de relever les contingences qui appellent à une négociation constante entre la démarche du chercheur et les soignants.
