Abstract
SARS abstracts 1209 mean(s.e.m.) survival time 54(12) versus 92(7) months; P < 0•01) and diseasefree survival (n = 113; mean(s.e.m.) survival time 54(14) versus 102(6) months; P = 0•004) than those without.Using multivariate Cox regression analysis, BT was a predictor of disease-specific survival (P = 0•011) and disease-free survival (P = 0•02) independent of other pathological prognostic indicators.Conclusion: Colorectal cancer patients with BT in the mesenteric lymph nodes have a worse outcome.These data support the long-term significance of BT in colorectal cancer patients.
