Abstract
Ce numéro thématique de VertigO invite à voyager dans le temps et l’espace, et à nourrir la connaissance hydrologique des cultures de l’eau dans lesquelles elle s’inscrit. L’eau est une source infinie de l’imagination scientifique, et ce numéro en révèle certaines dynamiques : production d’objets (zones humides, espèces invasives, hydrosystémie), protocoles et programmes de recherche (de la zone atelier aux politiques ministérielles), quête éternelle de la source explicative (des eaux souterraines à l’anthroposystème). La pensée hydrologique, dans sa forme scientifique, est au fond relativement récente, et relie les hommes, via des controverses scientifiques ou à travers des syndicats de gestion, autant qu’elle distingue ceux qui en maîtrisent l’usage technique et les enjeux, de ceux qui entretiennent d’autres rapports aux milieux.
