Abstract
Les études contemporaines de l’enfance permettent d’établir que la conception des premières années qui prévaut aujourd’hui et qui se trouve enchâssée dans la Convention relative aux droits de l’enfant (CRDE) est historiquement et culturellement spécifique. L’anthropologie doit rester critique au regard des discours hégémoniques sur l’enfance et des pratiques globalisées intervenant sur les enfances « autres », tout en poursuivant un engagement auprès des filles et des garçons qui subissent des violations à leurs droits.
